final presentation
With Medieval Skyscrapers, I pushed my knowledge of foliage, terrain, and lighting in Unreal Engine while improving my understanding of modular environment design. I think the final environment is a bit inorganic, but I'm happy with my progress.
All presented assets are my own - meshes, materials, particles, lighting, etc. withthe exception of the beautiful music by Peter Gundry.
final renders
Above are my final shots of the environment rendered in Unreal Engine 4.
alternate renders
To give a better view of the models, I created an alternate setup depicting the location later in the morning, when the sun has fully risen.
asset library
I constructed my environment out of a modular kit significantly larger and more detailed than Canyon Town, my previous project.
No environment is complete without props; they bring the environment to life. These kits focused primarily on selling the time period and telling the story.
